Course Description

This course introduces you to basic marketing concepts that can be used to give direction and purpose to your marketing efforts. The material covers how to distinguish between marketing, promoting, and selling as separate and distinct activities necessary to grow your business. Participants will get a sense of efficient productivity by working on their own marketing and promotion deliverables.
 

Course Objectives

The participants will learn how to:
Define a marketing strategy for three specific products or services based upon the four Ps of marketing
Define promotion objectives for one specific product or service
Develop one piece of promotional collateral to support the marketing strategy and promotional objectives
Prepare a selling story using So What? Analysis™ and the two keys of selling
Use the 6-step Selling Cycle to create a Sales Call plan
